We set up two companies in AX. The functional currency for company A is USD and for company B is GBP.  We now need to create a consolidated report (A and B) into USD in MR.  Does anybody know how to convert GBP balance into USD in MR for company B?

I assume your version is AX 2012.

The answer depends on the specific information you want to show in your consolidate report, but for certain purposes you can set both companies with a reporting currency of US$, and then report on the amounts in reporting (secondary) currencies.

But remember it only works for certain kinds of financial reporting.

Thanks ZVIKA.  We are actually on AX 2009.

Use the secondary currency in AX 2009. There is no currency translation available in MR.
