Hi Raj,

Did you created the other database manually or have just taken backup of first AOS DB and restored it. Try installation with creation of DB via AX setup, backup restore can be done later. Please update your finding as well.

Hi Nitesh,

I tried the same with another machine, it worked fine , it is problem only in this machine.  Even I stopped the existing AOS and tried , still no Luck,

I Did a Trick by duplicating the registry entry and modified the respective entries and managed to Install additional AOS.

I dont know if is same issue for dynamics 2012, but I have 3 instances installed now.

The first instance was using the standard installation from setup disk.

The next instances were installed the following manner:

1 - I copied the instance folder to at the same folder, renaming it. In my case the folder was in the following path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\50\Application\Appl

2 - After I Restored a backup from original database instance in the same database server with other name.

3 - Finally, into Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Server Configuration, I created a new configuration, copied of the original instance.

Just there are that modify, the instance name (the new folder instance) and the new database name.

Once realised the above steps the new instance should be working.

I hope that this solution work for you.
