This question has suggested answer(s)

Did anybody use the AX Retail moudle. When I log on the pos, once I inputed the opreator ID, the system informed "a problem occurred logging on, enter the user ID and password again." Does anybody can help me to resolve this problem or advise the probable wrong setup or operation?

  • I got the same issue . Does anybody can hep me ?

    Thanks

  • I've accidentally hit the same issue after trying to create and send new staff to POS. The new staff just didn't EXISTS in POS DB after run scheduler hence it will prompt you such weird behavior without giving more meaning error messages.

  • HI,

I am working in Microsoft Dynamics AX VPC. I am trying to logging into the Retail POS in VPC. I am entering operator ID "101" but I am getting the same error message as you mentioned. Can you give me correct Operator ID to logg in. Have you solved this problem?

    Your Help will be appreciated.

  • I got the same issue . Does anybody can help me ?

  • Solution 1:

    On the server :

Please revert to default setting deleting the following registry keys folders :

X.0 will be the version of AX like 6.0 etc.

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dynamics\X.0\Retail]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Dynamics\X.0\Retail]

If these keys exist on client, just delete them as well.

Then in AX, set the password one more time.

Run the N job related to staff.

    Try to login.

    Solution 2:

Check the RETAILSTAFFTABLE You can try to remove your user from the table completely then try adding the user back to retail and adding the store under the HQ | setup |  staff - 'enter store number'.

Run the staff batch job (Schedule N-1060 job - staff) and check if you are able to log back into Retail.
