We will have 250+ companies built in AX. Is there a way to control the list of companies that appear in the change company drop-down list, especially in Enterprise Portal where users will have limited functionality (approving timesheets/expense reports)?

The only setting I have found is the security key called Open Domain Access where if set to No Access, users only see the companies that they have some sort of access to.

The problem is, these users may need some access in all companies in rich client, and as soon as you do this, all companies now appear in the drop-down list in EP. For example, even giving view access to one rich client report across companies will now make all companies appear in EP.

Is anyone aware of other settings that can control the company drop-down list in Enterprise Portal?
