I'm now using ax 2012 . I make a new sales order and Generate invoice this massage will appear : Account number for transaction type Customer balance does not exist.
I check the posting profile for Customers and check accounts for item group and everything is right.
What's the missing to consider to post sales order invoice .
i Got the solution the problem was at the structures of chart of account (financial dimensions ) not matched between account for revenue,customers and accounts for Inventory . but the error massage not meaningful (account not exist) .

the solution link acconting structure to Ledger form by going to the following path Gl-setup-ledger
then click add in the accounting structure then add the created accouning structure
