Anyone able to install AX2012 EP on Windows 7 successfully?
Yes, I have everything running on my Win7. SQL, AOS, EP, SSRS, SSAS. An obscure issue we had was making sure that the "remote registry" service is started on the win7 machine prior to starting the installation.

I don't think you install EP on Win 7 because as a prerequisite it requires SharePoint services.
SharePoint, requires windows server. If there is a workaround for installing SharePoint on win 7 then please share it with, so i don't have to switch my OS for working on EP
First, you don't _NEED_ SharePoint, only to do Enterprise Portal or show Role Centers in AX. Second, I didn't have much trouble getting SharePoint up and running. There is plenty of info to be found online, including this Microsoft article: msdn.microsoft.com/.../ee554869.aspx
Ok thanks for the information.
thanks in advance.

You absolutely need Windows 7 Professional, and have the machine joined to a domain (and have the domain controller on the network while doing the installation).
Also, especially for EP/SharePoint, you need 64-bit. I'm unsure if the AOS will run on 32-bit or not, I think that may actually work, but you'll definitely not have enough memory since 32-bit can't access beyond 4GB anyway. I would recommend 6-8GB for an AOS to be comfortable.
