Retail - preactions not converted to actions....???

This question has suggested answer(s)

Hi

I am trying to use the standard job (A-1010) to transfer customers to POS. The problem is as follows:

I am making a change to Custtable. A preaction is created (everything is setup with filters on action creations). I run the job "create actions" but no Actions is created. The preaction is now marked like the action has been processed.

I have tried to change the settings in table distribution to send to all locations (and the parameter "no actions" is not activated)

Does anyone have any experience about why the actions are not created?

Louise

  • Any solution for this problem? We have the same problem on 2 different installations. We are only able to run N-Jobs because the preaction to action doesn't work.

  • Hi Michael

Yes actually, but only for the customers transfer (was the only job I had a problem with).

In the table distribution, custtable is a subtable to the adressbook. So for preactions to convert to actions, the each customer must be attached to an adressbook.

    Hope this helps :-)

  • Hi,

In AX 2009, we too face the same situation, but under different scenario. We have this issue in the replication of items. When item-related details have been changed (for example: Item name), preactions are created in the database. After running the "Create actions" job, no actions are getting created.

But, actions are getting created perfectly when I change the price and all.

Checked thoroughly the table distribution, (compared with another live system where it works perfectly), all settings in the table distribution looks similar.

Can anyone please advise what the issue could be? URGENT!!!

    Thanks.
