AX 2012 - Is there any way for accrual of Invoice Amount entered in Free Text Invoice?

Hi,

I have created a Free Text invoice. This is for Annual Membership. Invoiced amount is required to be accrued on Monthly basis.

Is there any way we can achieve this?

    Hi Manish,

    No, there is no way to accrue the revenue using free text invoice. Since, free text invoice once posted, it actually updates the customer balance as well which means revenue get realized as soon as you post the invoice. But on sales order you can accrue the revenue provided the goods/services are delivered.

    Thanks for the update. Is there any other way, we can invoice and recognize the revenue over a period? These Invoices are for annual membership.
