While running Inventory Closing, system is generated "Inventory Loss Account Does not Exist" Although account is linked on all Item Groups.
Do we need to link the same somewhere else as well?
Set the posting profile with a new inventory loss for "All" as a fallback, but to a seaprate account, then analyse entries into the account for the source and trace it back.

I think some transaction related to the Inventory posted without GL ID.
Just check the transaction randomly, I hope you will find the error.
I have now seen this error on a Feature Pack site. Nasty actually. Even after putting the GROUP posting account in and the TABLE account as well, refuses to go past this error. Can't cancel!
I have seen this error for a few postings on a new setup recently, and it turned out the g/l account for the posting profile was not included in any of the account structures, so it might be worth checking the Configuration of the Account Structures
Interesting Carol to suggest I look at Account Structures. The Account we are inserting here is referenced in other Posting Profile fields so is working there as far as we know. So that is my question, if we are posting to as a result of other posting profile settings, should it work for this one as well - without reference to Account Structures?
Forced a Cancellation. Forced a deactivation. Now the Inventory Close has run to completion!
