installed and configured Channel Database configuration utility & async client configuration


Ran All jobs ...

But in Download session, its showing status "started" -no data synchronized

so Retail POS is not working...

Any suggestions...

Hi Shashidhar,

Check Followings

1. go to retail channel configuration utility and check Channel Database name , Server Name are correct or not.

2. go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\CDX\Async Client\Package, and right click on AsyncClientConfigurationUtility.exe and click on Run As Administrator then click on Test Connection ,if Async Server Connection OK, you will get massage "connection was succeeded !".if not there may be issue with Async Server Configuration.

3. Go to Retail->Setup->Channel Integration->Channel Database and Verify Database ID and User Name and Passwords.

4.Go to Working Folders (CDX upload and Download) and see whether any files (.rpf) downloaded in to download folder.

5.Run Process Status Massages batch job . then go to Retail ->inquiries-> Download Sessions , & check the Status column , if data correctly downloaded and applied , the status should changed to "Applied" Status .

6. if problem persist,  Go to Event Viewer and check the events , then you can get the Idea about  ,where the actually issue is .
