Hi,
I am new to AX 2012 and I am not able to make a simple security thing work. I hope you can help me.
I have created a new field in the project table(ProjTable) and want to restrict the users ability to edit it. The users typically have these roles:
Employee
System user
Project Manager
Project supervisor
project timesheet user
The only role above who has permission to access the projtable by default is the Project Manager and I have restricted his permission to edit this particular field. If a user has all the roles mentioned above aside from Employee, he/she cannot edit the field but if I add the Employee role they can. Why??? The employee role should not have any access to the ProjTable?
Best regards,
Linda
