Hi,

I cannot logon AX2012 on AX server itself, but I can logon it from other client pc.

The error massage is "The Application Object Server name or port number is incorrect. Check the values in the Microsoft Dynamics AX Server Configuration Utility, and try again."

Rightly, it is correct the AOS name and port number of Server Config. and Client Config on AX server itself.

And, In windows ivent viewer log, "RpcBindingFromStringBinding returned 0x6a7". is it incorrect of network configuration of Windows Server ?

    Check the Client Configuration on your client PC to see what port etc. it is using.  Most likely the Client Configuration on the server is wrong.  If they are the same there is a possibility is that your DNS is bad in your server farm so it cannot find the server by fqdn (unlikely but possible).

    Did you ever find a soluton for this, please?  I'm suddenly getting the same error, although no changes were made except for occasional software update (Windows, Adobe, etc.).

    What is the Windows version? is there a error message? can you give us details about this error from event viewer?

    My problem was solved, interestingly by running virus/spyware scan and cleanup.  Still not sure what caused it, but had tried several other things first, including Windows update and opening Windows Firewall ports.
