Pleasant Valley Business Solutions (PVBS), a Microsoft Gold Certified partner recently announced that fast-growing government contractor Transquest Federal Systems (Westlake Village, CA and Columbia, MD) became a customer. Transquest Federal’s customers include Department of Defense and Intelligence agencies and the firm’s areas of expertise include cyber security and recruiting.
Transquest Federal was using QuickBooks prior to moving to Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Company President David Crocker said that Transquest Federal had gone as far as they could with QuickBooks, especially when Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) compliance became a major concern. Transquest Federal had grown its government customer base significantly and needed to ensure that it would have no problem passing the inevitable audits. Transquest Federal evaluated other solutions tailored to government contractors such as Deltek GCS Premier and several others before deeming them unable to meet the firm’s needs.
