Boy, do I love lists. They’re fun to read, they’re fun to write, and they take me a back a little to my rock columnist days when I got to make lists all the time - top 10 shows of 1991, top 10 rock songs with a theremin, top 10 Boston bands of the 1980s (think of John Cusack’s character in High Fidelity, only working at a magazine instead of a record store and without the resources to buy all that shelving for my LPs. And nerdier).
Alas, I digress. Denis Pombriant’s annual list of “WizKids” in front office software is out today, and I really enjoy lists when smart people like Denis make ‘em. I also like that there’s significant overlap between his list and companies we’ve been talking about on this site in the last two weeks – I take that as a good sign! I speak specifically about LucidEra and InsideView who commanded time in the blog yesterday (in InsideView’s case) and last week (as was the case for LucidEra). Denis’ imprimatur indicates that these are companies to keep a very close eye on.
