InsideCRM

Greenberg in the house…

By Chris Bucholtz

Today on the site is the first in a monthly series of columns from Paul Greenberg. If you don’t know who Paul is, you should visit www.myCRMcareer.com and listen to his “Experience at the Edge” podcast, or go to his blog, or to the webinar he did with Inside CRM earlier this year, or read his book “CRM at the Speed of Light,” which he is diligently re-working for its fourth edition. Some guys would make little tweaks to their books when it went to another edition, or do major re-working and sell the book under a different title. Not Paul. He knows that things change so fast in CRM that you need to basically create an entirely new book at regular intervals. So, let’s just say he wrote the books (plural) on CRM.

His short bio runs about eight paragraphs. More significantly, he’s also the best voice, I think, at explaining the impact of social media and community on CRM – which should make him an important voice for our audience. A lot of people are mouthing platitudes about this stuff now, but Paul actually can explain what it can do and why you need to pay attention to it. That’s why I’m so excited that he’s contributing to our fuzzy little piece of the CRM world

We’ll have Paul’s wise words on the site on the second Tuesday of each month. Meanwhile, go to today’s column – read and heed!
