This Thursday, November 26th, we celebrate Thanksgiving in the United States. 

Traditionally Thanksgiving is a harvest festival, but this week's celebration has become so much more....spending time with family and friends, lots of good food, football (yes, American football), and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Most importantly though, Thanksgiving for me is a time to reflect back on all the things for which I am grateful.  Family and friends, good health, having a job that I enjoy all quickly come to mind.  

I also think of the little things like our receptionist who every morning, without fail, welcomes me with a "good morning" and at the end of the day sends me off with "have a great night" or "see you tomorrow".  It is the multitude of these little moments that happen every day that bring a smile to my face. 

Working from one of our corporate campuses and not having daily interaction with our partners and customers, it is easy for me to forget the impact of our Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions.  But, a quick review of our customer stories reminds me of the difference our products can make in the lives and business success of our partners and customers.  One of my favorite customer stories is that of how Microsoft Dynamics GP Helps the American Red Cross Succeed in Its Mission.   

This Thanksgiving, I encourage you to slow down, pause, catch your breath and really think about all the things big and small for which you are grateful.  Think about what makes you smile.  Then pass your smile along.  A friendly greeting can make all the difference in the world.

Happy Thanksgiving!  And I encourage you to make thankfulness an everyday habit.
