With the release of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Update Rollup 12 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM December 2012 Service Update, organizations now have the ability to use browsers other than Internet Explorer to connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.  While this is indeed exciting news as it expands the number of users and organizations for CRM 2011, one should note that this change may also cause issues with how other browsers use JavaScript, potentially breaking any form scripts currently in place.

This issue creates the need for administrators to test their existing form scripts on new browsers, resolving any potential issues.  With some configuration, administrators can now control which browsers may be used to access Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, at least until they have had a chance to test form scripts across different browsers.
