  • In the user options (CRM-Options). On the general tab you can turn off what gets synched between CRM and Outlook. Turn off the 'Appointment' option and it should stop synching. Leon Tribe
  • This will stop synching the appoinments. I want the appoinments to sync but on the same time to turn off "Track in CRM"
  • I also found this problem as very annoying!! The actual problem is that you can not revert the "Track In CRM" button AFTER you have saved the Appointment. When re-opening an Appointment after being saved with "Track In CRM" you only have "Show in CRM" button. You can not set the Appointment back to be WITHOUT "Track In CRM" . BUT, if you set "Track In CRM" and have not yet saved the Appointment, you can still set back and forth the "Track In CRM" - this is weird behavior after you save the Appointment.

  • Can you please refer community.dynamics.com/.../default.aspx

  • I have not found an answer for this issue (How to Dissable the "Track In CRM" AFTER(!) the Appointment has been saved) within the Dynamics CRM Support Blog

  • Hi,

I presume you mean that you want to Untrack an appointment and when doing this make the appointment in CRM be removed?

If so, perhaps this article can help you out:

    rc.crm.dynamics.com/.../source_ol_unlink.htm

If you are looking to disable the button itself for a specific appointment or all appointments, perhaps that could be achieved by removing the create privilage on the security role of the user. I havn't tried it, but it would make it impossible for the user to create an appointment and if the ribbon is sensitive enought to this is should just not show the track button.

If I have not understood the question, please elaborate more, perhaps by giving an example of what you are trying to achieve.
