We have several Sales Channels in our Organization. We load Leads into the Leads Entity for use by only of of these Channels. I want to remove the Leads Tab for the other Channels. I have updated the Security Role to not allow and privliges, but the Leads tab is still present and they can view the records.
If the user still can view the lead records - I would recheck the security role for that user. Ensure that that is the only security role for the user (maybe other security roles allowing access to lead) and empty circle for the lead entity for the security role settings.

Removing the Add privilege isn't enough, you need to remove the "Read" privilege on the security role.
Also make sure the users aren't members of a team that has 'read' privilege to the lead - it's possible that they could be receiving visibility through a team's role rather than the role on their user record.)
