hi,
i am stting up the products and pricelists.
i have added the currencies my company use.
i have added all the products to the product catolog and the unit groups.
i need to add the pricelists.
i have a number of priocelists i need to use;
standard pricelists & various discounted pricelists.
so here are my questions;
when i create a pricelist and add the product if there a quick way of doing this or do i have to go one product at a time?
as we use a number of currencies, do i need to create more pricelist for each currency ie, a £ standard pricelist, a $ standard pricelist, ect? - it seem i can only use one currency per pricelist?
can anyone help with a simple explaination?
much appriciated.
What Microsoft Dynamics product are you using?

its all very new to me.
thank you in advance
I looked your organization up and your using Microsoft Dynamics CRM. I will move the thread there to get in front of more Microsoft Dynamics CRM professionals.
Hello,
There is no quick way of adding products to a Quote unless you look into creating "Product Kits" or groups.
There is no way to add the lines automatically via workflow either as the Product line items is unavailable via Workflows.
What I've done in the past is create a "Template" opportunity with several products added and then create a quote that pulls these products from the template opportunity. You do this by using the "Get Products" button on the ribbon of the quote entity.
Does that make sense?
When you add a price list, if you click on Price List items, you can add more than just one product here after having them added as Price List Items. They need to be added as Price List Items. This is one product at a time. You are correct also, you can only have one currency for each pricelist, price list item, and product. If you are looking for more detail on this, please see the certification link below and review the preparation materials. Here, you will be able to find the information available that provides all necessary detail on the CRM 2011 applications.
