In our on premise CRM Dynamics 2011 (ver 5.0.9688.583 - Roll up 12) installation we have an issue where we cannot hide the Campaign entity entirely from our implementation, and would like to do so as we have no use for it currently. We have successfully hid all other unused entities through role permissions and other configuration, and have blanked-out all the Marketing options in our Security Role; yet if we go to look up a record lets say for a new activity the Lookup Record Dialog still lists Campaign Activity, and Quick Campaign as select-able options - also System Job shows as a select-able option and still looking for a way to hide this from our users. Is there a way to remove entity objects from the Lookup record dialog?
I too would also like to know how to do this. I have configured the role permissions to disallow quick campaign but it still shows !
