Hi all!
I've activated CRM Online on our Microsoft On Line Sevices (we are a Microsoft Gold Partner) but I've a problem with authentication by some of our users that already partecipated to a trial of CRM Online one year ago with a previous version. When they try to login to the CRM online site instance they all receive an error:
You are not a member of this organization. You (xxxxxx@YYYYY.onmicrosoft.com) do not belong to the organization YYYYY. Verify the organization name and try to sign in again.
New users login procedure works like a charm.
I've already checked http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2652895 but it's not applicable in our contest. I think the problem belongs in some data related to the prevoius trial.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance
Cris
I had some issues with this also. I do not know if this will fix the problem..
Are they signing into the portal and then loading the CRM organization or are you sending them the url the the CRM environment? I found that each new user had to log into the portal and wait the the CRM instance to load (took like 5 mins) and then the CRM button was enabled. After this they were able to log into CRM without an error.
I'm not sure if you have the same problem though.
Error message :
You are not a member of this organization... you can only get when you are logged in with a Windows Live account which in not the user for the CRM Online org we are trying to access from the system. If that is not the case please open a case with the support case for this error message you are getting
Thanks,
Thank you Michael but unfortunately this is not the case: user has the same problem days after I created him...
Thank you Mohammad. At this point I will open a case with support...
Bye
Does support team resolved your problem Cristiano ? I'm experiencing the exactly same problem you're describing above...
Dominic
Hi Dominic,
I talked with support yesterday. They collected info to well define the issue. On Monday they will open a case and let me know the solution. I'll post the answer.
Cause 1
This is due to being logged into a Dynamics CRM Online organization that is using a Windows Live ID and then trying to login to a Dynamics CRM organization with a User Id that is associated with your Office 365 Services. The cookies that are used in the Internet Explorer browser sessions are trying to use your previous credentials to login.
Cause 2
This is due to being logged into a Dynamics CRM Online organization with a User Id that is associated with your Office 365 Services and then trying to login to a Dynamics CRM organization that is using a Windows Live ID. The cookies that are used in the Internet Explorer browser sessions are trying to use your previous credentials to login.
To resolve either of the issues do one of the following:
Resolution 1: Click the Sign Out button on the page that you see the error on. Then log back in with the correct login to access your Dynamics CRM Online organization.
Resolution 2: Start Internet Explorer in, inPrivateBrowsing mode. Then try to access your Dynamics CRM Online Organization.

Already tried these resolutions... Doesn't work for us.

It seems there is an error in communicating with the database or due to some problem with the security roles specification. I am giving you links to both of these and hope these might be helpful for you:
For error due to database communication:

For error due to security roles specification:

This issue might also be caused by the fact that not all of the web sites used to perform authentication are trusted. This may appear to be an issue with Internet Explorer. If the solutions I already mentioned do not work you can then try this:
Go to “Internet Options”
In the window that opens select the “Security” tab
Select the “Trusted Sites” checkmark
Click the “Sites” button
In the window that opens in the area that says “Add this website to the zone”
Enter https://*.dynamics.com and click “Add”
Then enter https://*.live.com and click “Add”
Close all open windows
Close and then open Internet Explorer
Cris, FYI, we opened a case at Microsoft yesterday about this issue. I'll keep you in touch here...
Thanks Muhammad for the suggestions you proposed, but we're still getting the error here.
Hi All,
