New to CRM.  Does it make sense to add products our customers have already purchased?  There doesn't appear to be a report or dashboard that displays overall synopsis of a customer, such as products purchased or service contracts.

It might make sense in a couple scenarios...

  • If you want to eliminate a legacy system - you could move the data into CRM
  • If you want people to have increased visibility of customer history - it might make sense to aggregate the data in a single system

Even if there isn't any out of the box report or dashboard that fits your needs you always have the option to create your own to show the data in a way that makes sense for your business - that is one of the great things about Dynamics CRM
