Ribbon doesn't appear

Hi guys, i'm having a strange problem with the ribbon.

When we click in a button which has sub-menu. (e.g. : delete account), all the ribbon disappear and the IE console shows "SEC7115: :visited and :link styles can only differ by color. Some styles were not applied to :visited. main.aspx"

Anyone knows what's happening ?

    Is it CRM Online or On Premise?

    Issue is occurring in Outlook or IE?

    If Outlook what is the version of it?

    What is the IE version ?

    What is the exact steps that the user is performing to recreate the issue ?

    Does this issue happens for all users ?

    If it is one user having this issue then what if we try it in a different machine or browser?

    It's CRM On Premise with UR12.

    The error occurs in IE (the version of IE is 9).

    Exact steps to recreate the issue: User open an account >> go to Add activities >> when click in "more activities" button (which has sub menu), all ribbon goes blank.

    Another example : User goes to Import Data >> choose a previous imported file >> select that file >> when click in "delete" button (which as sub menu), all ribbon goes blank.

    And the button over function which paints with another color is not working too

    Do you have any customisations applied to the Ribbon?

    Are you running IE in compatibility mode (Click on the broken page icon to the right of the URL). Does this happen on other computers or is it just yours?

  • Yes, we've used ribbon workbench to add a button in the account entity. But it was 3 months ago, and the error occurs just now.

    I've put the solution in Release environment (another machine), and the error doesn't appear...

    Do you think is something related to that especific machine where Quality environment is installed ?

  • You need to find out why the ribbon is not appearing. These issues can be caused by:

    1. A script error - your SEC7115 error is an expected error and wouldn't cause a missing Ribbon

    2. A ribbon.js request throwing an exception on the server - this is the most likely. If you use fiddler - look at each request for the ribbon.js and examine the contents - it should contain javascript, but if there is an issue it will show HTML with an error report in it.

    You've probably tried already, but try clearing your IE cache on the browser - and republishing customisations on the server to force a client cache re-fresh.

    Yesterday i've traced it with F12 in IE, and the result was:
