After we got the CRM backup from Microsoft and imported into our inhouse we started receiving SQL error message in Contracts selection. "Message says try again or contact Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community or Microsoft Dynamics CRM administrator."
Do you get these error while creating a new Contract record? Are you able to open the main Information page for Contract entity (Settings > Customization > Customize the system > Entity > Contracts > Form)?
If its a CRM on premise org, try enabling server traces and review it for more info on the error. Follow the article to enable traces support.microsoft.com/.../907490
We are getting error message as soon as we click at "Contract" from CRM it was not happening earlier but after restore data from Microsoft hosted CRM it started.
Are you able to open the Form Editor page for Contract entity? Enable the Dev Errors on CRM and reproduce the issue. This will give you a detailed error. Follow this article to enable Dev errors: support.microsoft.com/.../857192.
Note: Make sure you take a backup of your Web.config file before you do any changes on it.
I have enabled the trace on CRM server but its not generating any log file.
I would suggest you raise a ticket with MS Support now.
