Hello Experts,

After creating the mailbox, we click "Approve Email" and then click "Test and Enable Mailbox" to enable it. But the test fails with below error - "This mailbox is disabled for email processing. For more information, see the alerts"

In the alerts section, we get a message saying - The email message "Test Message" cannot be sent because the mailbox <Mailbox name> has an incorrect email address or the user name specified in the email server profile <Server Profile name> does not have sufficient permissions for sending email.

The email address for the Mailbox is a valid one. Please let us know how to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Swaroop

Hello Swaroop,

I believe this is CRM 2013 Organization.

Reference Documents -

www.microsoft.com/.../set-up-email-through-server-side-synchronization.aspx

www.microsoft.com/.../email-processing-through-server-side-synchronization.aspx

As you have already confirmed that email address for the Mailbox is a valid one, I would suggest you to verify if the user name specified in the email server profile has sufficient permissions for sending email. Go this user's profile and see the what the Synchronization Method set to and if this is correct.

Thank You !

Hi Aftab,

Is it required that the username specified in the Server profile to be a actual user in CRM?

Thanks,

Swaroop
