I'm working with charts in CRM2013 and I would like to know if there is a way to edit the drilldown function so that you could do one of the following:

1)  Use a specific default field selection

2)  Embed a link to another section of CRM, such as:  If I click on a drilldown from a chart which shows the number of active cases per customer, I'd like to go directly to the Account form for that customer.

AFAIK, this is currently not possible.

Hi KNorth,

Agree with Raj.

1)  Use a specific default field selection --> No, there is no option to set field as default field selection.

2)  Embed a link to another section of CRM, such as:  If I click on a drilldown from a chart which shows the number of active cases per customer, I'd like to go directly to the Account form for that customer.

--> No, you should create custom SSRS with chart.

However, if you notice, after you go drill down, you can actually select the view.

You will have the list of those drilled-down cases.

Then, you can go to the Case record.

If you want to go to the Account directly, the workaround is by modifying the view and then add new field, customer.

Which is you can double click and go to the respective Customer (Account or Contact) directly.

Hope this helps!

Thanks.
