Hi all,

Is there a way to get the error message when an user is missing privileges to access a record in CRM Online. I only get the non-informative message that the user is missing the privileges and not which (as in the case of OnPremise Instance).

Thanks for any help!!

are you sure you don't get any details about the privilege missing?

normally is a string like prvReadAccount, prvWriteAccount, ...

That's the weird part, I thought so the same. But I'm getting the "Insufficient Permissions" message (it's a fresh instance and not based on an error from an upgrade: mscrmonline.wordpress.com/.../crm-2013-form-insufficient-permissions)

Hi MrHospers,

Usually, there is an option to download the log file in the error message popup.

If this option is not available, you can open a support case so we can collect platform traces and help you identifying the missing privilege.
