I am facing error when configuring Microsoft CRM Outlook Client 2013 in my workstation.
The error is:
Error| Exception : An error has occurred. Try this action again. Anyone face the same problem?
are you using crm on-premises or online
there could be caused by many different things.
check this out:
beside that it could be your outlook crm is on a different version from the server
sometimes you enter a wrong credential or url and it's cache it. actions like restarting your machine my clear.

It might have a SPNs issue or TurnOffFetchThrottling registry key might be enabled on CRM server. But before commenting anything, would like to know about your environment.
1.Is this CRM online or On-premise
2.Update rollup for CRM server
3. Update rollup for Outlook client
4. do you have IFD setup
5. Credential should be verified and correct
6. User's security role (OOB or custom)
