We've had this happen both in our installation and in a client's in the past 24 hours, so I think Microsoft has an issue, but, if not, I hope someone can help.
We have a number of reports with subreports in CRM 2011 Online. Yesterday afternoon (4/25/2012) subreports at a client installation just stopped working (blank space in report where the subreports would be when running the report). We tried recreating the reports, with no success. We thought that a user may have been in customization and messed up some linkage of fields. Planned to tackle it this morning, but the reports were fine this morning.
Late this morning, the reports were broken again. Same thing - subreports just didn't show up. We submitted a ticket to Microsoft.
A few minutes ago, I went to run one of the reports we've used constantly inhouse in CRM 2011 Online and even before that in V4. The subreports were missing.
Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas for us?
Thanks!
Susan
I have never seen this issue, I hope Microsoft can help you out on this one.
Good Luck!
Hi Susan,
Are you still encountering this issue?
Thank you for using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Communities,

Hi,
I am encountering this exact behavior, did you find a fix?
Thanks
Kelvin
Not really. We got Microsoft involved, but they couldn't find anything, and the reports started working properly "on their own". Couldn't duplicate the problem, so MS closed the ticket. The client's SQL database WAS corrupted, causing an explosion of the storage space used. We don't know whether getting that corrected was part of the solution. (Client's storage usage had grown to 27 GB. When fixed, they were using less than 2 GB. This is a fix that only Microsoft can do in an Online installation. You might check your storage. (Settinigs\System\Admin\Subscription Management) )
