We are using the CRM 2011 Outlook add-in (32-bit) RU8. We installed the most recent Windows updates yesterday. Users report the inability to export a report (quote) to Acrobat or Word through Outlook. We could still run the reports in the browser. We uninstalled update KB2699988 and export started working in Outlook again. Anybody else having this issue? We would like to keep this update installed if possible.
Same problem here, I thought I was going crazy until I noticed that some of the clients were still working. The ones that had not taken the update yet were fine. Uninstalled KB2699988 and export works now. This needs to be fixed or a workaround released as I do not think halting security updates to IE is a good idea :)

Thanks Joe. At least now I know it isn't an isolated case. Not having IE patched up makes me nervous too. Hope we see a fix soon.
I can confirm that it is KB2699988 causing this issue. We have already had several users that started to not be able to export reports after installing KB2699988. Uninstalling it resolved the issue. Like Joe however I hope they resolve this quickly as I don't like uninstalling Critical updates.
