    Hi Guys~ question about auto-chunk file

    I am using GP10.0 and Dexterity10.

    After I created an auto-chunk file and copied it with extracted dictionary to GP directory, when I lanched GP, it didn't expand automatically. So, what's going on there? Because of the compatibility ID?

    thx~

    Hmm.  My first thought is that your chunk file name is too long.  I don't know about version 10.0, but on all previous versions if the chunk file name (before the .cnk) is longer than 8 characters, it will not install.  It just sits there, and sits there, until you rename it with a shorter name.

     Let me know if that fixes the problem.

    It very well could be the version check.  Try putting

    SkipVersionChecks=TRUE
     in your Dex.ini file.
     Another thing that will cause it not to unchunk is if you are launching with a .set file NOT named Dynamics.set
