    Tracking Holiday

    Has anyone had the need to track Holiday time in the same manner as Vacation or Sick time.

    My client wants to see 3 separate 'buckets' for vacation, sick and holiday so they can view the amount of time left for each.

    Any ideas ?

    You will need the Human Resources module with the Attendance functionality enabled. Otherwise, you'll have to go with a third-party application. The two that I know of are Integrity Data's Enterprise Leave Manager and Greenshade Accounting's Professional PTO.

    Do you know if you could track some types of leave via Attendance, such as Military and yet use PTO manager to accrue vacation and sick time (or is that precluded by selecting HR as the module on the Attendance setup) ?

    I am running some tests now but thought I would run this by you.

    It may depend on what you want to track related to the Military leave. Attendance transactions can be used to record leave taken whether it's paid or unpaid leave so you should be able to set it up to work for you. It would have no impact on the vacation and sick time accruals.
