    Budget Initialization fails after Dynamics GP update

    I have successfully upgraded 130 companies to Dynamics GP 10.  However, I go into a company logged in as “sa” and initialize the budget.  It initializes fine and I can get to budgets.  When I close the window and try to reopen I need to initialize again.  No other users can get into budgets.  The knowledge base has TK #851376.  It says to enter a new password for the “sa” account.  I’ve got a good password for “sa”!  I have also run the Grant.sql script on all of my companies but can't get the initialization to stick.  Do you know of anything else I can try?

    Hi Linda,

     Have you tried the steps in TK#851376? The password for 'sa' that you have now might be a good one, but it might not be sync'ing someplace, by changing the password, might force the recognition that the system needs to get you beyond this issue.
