Sending Emails to ~25000 leads and contacts from CRM

I have a newsletter that we send every other month that we are currently managing external to CRM.  I would like to migrate this in to CRM 4.0, but I have a few technical hurdles to overcome.

    1. Can I send emails from an address not (m.myself@company.com) rather marketing@company.com
    2. Can I send HTLM code in the mail merge functions
    3. How can I manage the unsubscribe options in CRM automatically

    Any help would be great...

the way we worked around the problem was to creat a seperate users called Marketing@ and sent the mail from that account...We had to set up a seperate outlook account and the marketing manage switches between the two. Not the best but it worked

    Hi Stephen,

We have an add-on written for MS CRM which deals with this requirement. As it is written specifically for MS CRM it makes use of all the default features of the product, integrates unsubscribes, choose your from/reply to address, include attachments etc.

Please have a look at V206 Mail.

    Thank you.

once you get to this level of sophistication and volumes, best to use and integrated 3rd party tools. As well as sending address and unsubscribes you also need to ensure bounce management is handled well. 3rd party tool such as communigator will also give you click through analysis, including updating the crm contact record with all the actions the contact did in an individual campaign. www.communigator.co.uk they do free trial to prove it
