we updated a CRM 3.0 to 4.0 last week.
The update went perfectly good but since then we had trouble with the CRM Outlook Clients. Before the update we uninstalled all Outlook Clients and after the upgrade to 4.0 on the server, we installed the new Outlook Clients.
Now there are several issues with the clients. Not all of the users have the same problems and some of them don´t have any problems at all.
There is an unwanted behaviour whilst promoting an EMail from the Outlook Client.
The EventLog shows a hr=80044150 error "An error occured while promoting a Microsoft CRM e-mail message. Restart Microsoft Outlook and try again."
Also there pop´s up a generic SQL error, without any useful information in it.
Secondly:
Some users have a CRM adressbook in their Outlook, some don´t. But all of these existing adressbooks are empty.
Problem with all these issues is: It seems to happen unpredictably and not every user has the same errors while they all have the same security permissions and roles...
Does anyone have any suggestions what might cause this errors?
