Has anyone out there used the CRM metadata as a source to be linked in with a few description fields to create an auto-updating Data Dictionary that derives the majority of its information from within the core system?
We were considering doing this, and I couldn't find any record of others discussing it in the community so I thought I would throw it out there for discussion. I am not only open to tales of your experience doing this, and recommendations on how to do it, but even to suggestions on how to do it optimally.
We are on the ground floor with the effort, and gathering data and ideas before we go forward with the initial design.
