    Outlook 2007 synchronization problems

When I enter an appointment in CRM 3.0 (using the web interface) and synchronize CRM with Outlook, my appointments are not appearing in Outlook. I checked the Outlook CRM Client Options and the synchronization with My Appointments is active. Any ideas on what could be causing the problem? There are no error messages. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Norm

    Hello,

In Outlook, go to CRM > Options > Synchronization, look for a little link in the text "Contacts specified in your Local Data", click on it and give a look at the contacts query in there (Data Groups). Make sure it suits what you need.

Let us know if you found the solution.

     Thanks,

    Hugo

    Hi Hugo,

    Thanks for the assistance.

I have taken a look at these settings. They appear to be setup so as to allow me to synchronize items. I assume you are referring to the My Contacts data group. The settings are Parent Downloaded = True and Owner = Current User.

CRM Appointments will synchronize down to the local Outlook or Exchange calendar when the calendar's owner is the CRM Appointment's Organizer.

Have you checked the value of the CRM Appointment's Organizer attribute?
