  Microsoft Office Information Bridge Framework Reply Contact Hello guys, I understand in the beginnings of CRM there was a component called Microsoft Office Information Bridge Framework which allowed accessing Microsoft CRM information from Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Do you know if such a tool still exists for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0? Microsoft themselves used this in some of their demos and the part of it people remember was the ability to adjust a quote in Word and send this information directly back to CRM from the Word screen. The bad news is it was available from the old CRM sandbox and when the sandbox was made defunct, so was the Bridge Framework (my limited understanding was there was also some demarcation internally at Microsoft about who should be developing and supporting such a tool, the CRM group or the Office group and eventually it just fell through the gaps). As far as I know, it is unlikely there will ever be a v4.0 of this great tool, which is a pity. Leon Tribe
