    More help desiding Business Units

Hi all,  We are deciding our Business Units for a new company implementation, we have read the document http://www.microsoft.com/dynamics/crm/using/configure/businessunitsandsecurity.mspx but we want to hear more voices from the expertise.  We have 3 departments, but our company is very small.   Shall we keep just 1 OU? The main one. What do you think?   Thanks in advance.

    Hi Mariano

Really depends if you want to segregate your data, if the cpomapny is small and you dont mind everyone seeing all the data then just create security roiles off the main business unit.

If you want to restrict the users from seeing information in the system then create a level of business units with security at each level and allocate roles accordingly.

    Hopethis helps

It also depends on whether you will be running reports based on a user's department. As a general rule I create the structure as it saves messing around later on. Leon Tribe
