    GP Interface and Citrix

I'm wondering if anyone has had multiple interfaces for GP running on the same Citrix server. I'm looking at installing a different client(Australia) on a Citrix Server with an existing client(CAN/US). Is there any potential for the clients to conflict with each other??

     Thanks!

Just be sure to install the different clients in different folders.  They can point to the same Dynamics database, but usually have their own company database for their use.

Thanks. Your advise is great. When you refer to different folders is this during the client install for GP?

Re: Re: Re: GP Interface and Citrix

When you install the second client and it will ask you if the client has an instance name, you can call it what ever makes sense for the install and then there will be a new folder under the dynamics folder with the instance name and then GP.

You will then be able to create or use another icont hat points to the second install and publish it as a citrix app.

Thanks. I was under the impression that the folder was a Citrix option. As you can tell, I'm not a Citrix guy.

I'll pass this on to our IT staff.

    Many Thanks.

We are now caught in a loop. The Aus/Instance needs/asking for Framework 2.0 but the server currently has 3 & 4 on it.

We have been told that we can't install the Aus/Instance until 2.0 is the latest version. Is there a way around this?

    Thanks.

We put in a GP incident yesterday. MS came back with a install which will side-step the request for FW 2.0. We will see whether is works later today.

    Thanks for the article.
