  MS CRM 3.0 - Incompatible with Outlook 2007 Enterprise edition Reply Contact Hi,  I am in the process of installing MS CRM 3.0 - on my machine - but the following error comes up :  An incompatible version of the Microsoft CRM desktop client for Outlook or the Microsoft CRM laptop client for Outlook is already installed on this computer: Product: Microsoft CRM laptop client for Microsoft Office Outlook, Version: 3.0.5300.1361, User: GPL\cameron. Before continuing the current installation, remove the incompatible version.  I know that its not already installed - so I am not sure why the incompatibility issue is coming up.. Anybody have any clues on how to resolve this? Thanks Ananda akumar @  brightfox.com.au

Don't delete it in the filesystem but in the "System Properties".

The solution you have provided is only valid if I already have had the MS CRM installed on my machine. However in my case this is not true. I am having a Compatibility issue - between MS CRM 3 and MS Outlook 2007 Enterprise Ed. What do I do for this problem?? Thanks. Ananda

The installation wizards finds something in the registry that makes him think there was a version installed. If this doesn't work try to delete the user profile.
