    table hierarchy inconsistency

    hi,

I used Dexterity to make some new forms, tables, reports etc in dynamics.dic.  Everything was working fine and still works in dexterity runtime but when i create the chunk and put it in GP I get table inconsistency error. I am pretty sure i didn't change any of the relationships between tables exept that i added a new relationship between one of my tables and Item Master. Also one more thing that looks weird, if I go to report writer for that chunk and open tables I get different names for 2 of my tables (names i used before but later changed them) and 2 others are listed as table not found, but the program is using them fine.  I deleted the tables and stored procedures created by the chunk and re-installed it but still i get the same thing.

    thanks in advance

    Re: Re: table hierarchy inconsistency

actually the tables that I created and cannot be found are not even used in the reports but only on lookup forms, so they shouldnt affect the tables or be added to the reports etc. I am using the dynamics.dic so all other relationships between tables should be there

I believe you are receiving the errors because of the cause described in the KB article I wrote:

    Re: Re: table hierarchy inconsistency

It looks like i had added a relationship on IV_Item_MSTR that i completely forgot about. Don't know whether I should add the relationship through report writer since it is between existing GP tables and not tables of my own ( I don't want to mess the GP tables). In any case I removed the table from my report and everything works fine

     thanks for helping out
