Previewing e-mails via case, customer or contact general issues - CRM 3.0

    Previewing e-mails via case, customer or contact general issues - CRM 3.0

    Hi,

     Hoping somebody can help with this as i cant find that anybody else has reported similar problem, which i find very surprising!!

     What we basically want to achieve with CRM is to look at the history of different entities such as Case, Company and Contact and see the following information for the e-mail activities:

    From,  To,  DateAndTimeSent,  Subject,  PreviewOfEmailBody

     I'm having the following problems achieving the above:

     - The activity entity generally isnt open for customization

    - The activity views do not have the from and To fields as options to add

    - Again because of restrictions on the activities entity i cant add time to the actual end date

    -   Subjects OK.

    - The PreviewOfE-mailBody(called description in the activities screens) is the biggest problem, when an e-mail is tracked from outlook all you see in the description field within CRM is what appears to be some XML code instead of the actual text.  This is a big problem as we track a lot of e-mails from CRM.

     Help with any of the above problems will be much appreciated and much needed.
