Microsoft have started the Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Feature of the Day series on the Inside Microsoft Dynamics GP Blog.
The third feature they’ve announced is Bin Transfer History.
This feature adds the ability to maintain history for bin movement and enquire and report on the hitorical movements as well as tracking the reason codes for the movements; (Enquiry >> Inventory >> Bin Transfer History?);
This new functionality will allow users to enquire and report on movements to get greater visibility of inventory movements and the reason for the movement to help streamline the warehouse processes.
A utility will be available to remove historical movement records when they’re no longer needed.
