When you are choosing a Microsoft Dynamics GP partner, how do you get to know them? Reviewing their website is a start, but a great website can disguise a not so great company.  If a salesperson comes to your office that is helpful, but how much do you know about the rest of the team you will be working with?

Here are three tips to get to know a Dynamics GP partner:

1)     Visit their Office

Before you choose a Microsoft Dynamics GP, why not invest a little bit of time to meet them personally. You can make a trip to their office – perhaps for a meeting or even an informal order in lunch. I remember one CFO telling me he wanted to see our office in person to make sure we were not just a virtual team in another part of the world. (I think he had burned by that in the past.) But remember that the sign of a successful consulting company is when they have very few people sitting around the office. So make an appointment in advance to confirm the team who will be working on your project is in fact there that day. Or perhaps you want to make a surprise visit to confirm there is a support staff in the office, live people who will answer your phone call, even when your project manager is not there.

2)     Attend an Event

Or you can see a Dynamics GP partner in action by attending an event they are hosting. Especially if this is a customer event where you can see how they interact with their existing customers.

3)     Watch a Video
