I have a single user who occasionally encounters the error message below. It appears to occur only when running large reports. I have not found a connection limitation or error messages in the the event logs, and I have never encountered this error before, so I am at a loss. The error is:
"Microsoft Dynamics GPA SQL network connection error occurred and your connection was cleared. This probably occured because all available connections to the server are in use. Please try again later."
This occurs on GP10 SP1, SQL 2000 SP4, Windows Server 2003 SP2. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Is this user either on a wireless connection or a VPN? If any fluctuation happens in connectivity, then GP will do this. Only LAN connections (10mbps or greater) are supported for GP.
I have the same problem too, but for more than one user, and they are all working on the local network, not VPN, not Wireless.

Has anyone else found a solution to this error? Same issue here. Users are on a gigabit connection.
It is a hotfixed update from microsoft for w2003 sp2
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948496
Apply this on your server and it will fixed the problem
would this hot fix still apply to us if we don't use SNP?
Hey Guys,
I have been working since 2010 with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 and my clients are using terminal server to connect to Dynamics. One of them have the same issue for 6 weeks and I was applying some tips to solve this issue but any plan does not work.
I don't know if the terminal is the cause of my errors. What do you think?.
Thanks a lot!
