I'm trying to close payables in GP 10, and when I run the year-end closing process the Last Closing Date for both Fiscal and Calendar is blank. I thought I would see the previous date that payables was closed last year. I went to the PM40100 table to see what date shows for LSTYECAL and LSTYEFSC, and both show 1900-01-01.
I have a test company that actually has a date of 2012-01-10 in the LSTYECAL which is the date of the last time payables was closed.
How do I correct this issue in our live company? Can I change the date in LSTYECAL to 12-01-10, and run the year-end process? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,Jennifer
Hi,
The AP year end close does not rely on the date. What shows in the box is the actual date you punched the close button. It's odd that your's does not have a date if you closed it, but it doesn't need a date. You can close without the date and it should populate with the current date.
kind regards,
Leslie

Hi Leslie,
I went ahead and closed the year, and it did populate today's date as LSTYECAL. Not sure why it had defaulted back to 1900-01-01. Oh well it works now.
Thanks,
Jennifer
Thanks for the update Jennifer!
