Good Morning,
Friday I had to do a new install of Dynamics 2010 on a Windows 7 P 64 bit laptop. After installing and being unable to run GP Utilities, I realized I had left out the collections module and tried to go back to the installer and add that module. The modify window was totally blank, no options. Since I could not find a way to add it I uninstalled Dynamics thinking I could reinstall and add it at the components window. I then rebooted and tried to reinstall. Now I get an error stating:
System.NullreferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I have cleaned out the Registry on everything I can think of relating to Dexterity, Dynamics, Great Plains, etc.
Does anyone have any idea why I cannot reinstall? Thanks for any help, it will be most appreciated.

Hi Doug,
The issue is with information still in the registry. This is very tricky but thankfully you are on a 64-bit machine so you can use a tool we have:
support.microsoft.com/.../Program_Install_and_Uninstall
If you are still running into issue I would recommend you open a support case.
