I have an end-user for some reason now can't see attachments tied to a note. If I log her in via Citrix she can access the attachment fine so it is something local on her machine, but her dex.ini and dynamics.set file are identical to the one on the Citrix server. Only thing I can think of is a window sizing issue or something.
When the attachment was added, was the "Link" box checked? If so, the file is stored in its original location and only a link is provided to the file. This is the biggest reason I found for out of synch attachments, especially between users. See if you can recreate the attachment without the link so the file is uploaded to the location specified in the dex.ini switch. It should then be available no matter what computer or user accesses it, assuming the dex.ini settings match. -Trevor
That I'm not sure. But why would it work for the user in Citrix, but no locally on her machine. You are referring to the OLE path correct? If so, both are linked to a shared folder.
I checked with the girl who made the PO in GP and she said by default "link" is unchecked.
